Inspired by the Water Buffalo, a symbol of strength, resilience and balance, this natural processed Burundi coffee reflects the quiet power of its origin.
Sourced from smallholder farmers on Shikakoni Hill in the Kayanza region, this coffee benefits from high altitudes, rich soils and meticulous post harvest processing, producing exceptional clarity, sweetness and depth.
After harvest, this microlot is milled and exported by Ikawa Nziza, Burundi’s first purpose-built speciality dry mill. Established in 2013, it was designed specifically for high-quality microlots, ensuring precision, consistency and true respect for origin character.
In the cup, expect vibrant red fruit, soft citrus sweetness and a silky, tea-like body, finishing clean and elegant, steady and composed, much like the Water Buffalo itself.
